VEG is seeking a per diem Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 emergency team. You’ll diagnose, treat, and manage emergencies across a broad spectrum of cases, including exotic pets, while mentoring newer team members.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• Experience in emergency medicine and endoscopy is highly valued.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg when needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions and triage patients.
• Handle emergencies from routine to complex cases.
• Perform surgeries and endoscopic procedures as needed.
• Educate and communicate treatment plans with clients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
