Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• 2 years recent nursing experience required for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years' experience may be considered with approval.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• ENPC within 24 months of hire and PALS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
