Job summary

Geisinger Emergency Medical Services Danville is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide frontline EMS coverage in a rotation shift. You will evaluate patients, deliver emergency care, and document treatments while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards.

In this role, you will transport patients, operate ambulances, and ensure a clean, stocked environment per policies. A High School Diploma or GED, PA EMT license, BLS, and valid driver's license are required for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active BLS certification and PA EMT license.
• Valid driver's license and EMS vehicle operator credential.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
• Provide patients with emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
• Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
