Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year RN experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer individualized patient care within the assigned unit.
• Provide nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with hospital policies.
• Maintain standards of nursing care as established.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Incorporate the needs and behavior of the patient's specific age group in care planning.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
