Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA seeks a per diem EKG Technician to deliver centralized ECG services for inpatient and outpatient needs, including emergent ECGs. The role supports Code Blue/Code Trauma and maintains the Philips iECG system.

Hours are part-time (48 hours per bi-weekly pay period), with weekend shifts of 12 hours each. The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and HIV/AIDS training; CCT or CRAT certification is required by day 150, plus hospital ECG

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational ECG program preferred.
• Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required upon hire.
• Washington DOH HIV/AIDS Training (7 hours) required before first patient contact.
• CCT or CRAT certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International required by day 150.
• Six months’ hospital/clinic ECG 12-lead experience or paramedic experience preferred.
• Basic competency in cardiac rhythm recognition and twelve-lead ECGs.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized ECG service for inpatient and outpatient departments.
• Respond to Code Blue and Code Trauma as support staff.
• Maintain Philips iECG Paperless ECG system.
• Performs emergent ECGs per policies and procedures.
