Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ seeks a Neurology Technician to perform EEG studies (Routine, Sleep Deprived, LTM) and to act as a super-user for the digital EEG system and monitoring systems. On-site, part-time, per diem schedule with rotation coverage as needed.

The role requires at least one year of adult EEG experience, familiarity with digital EEG, and ABRET pathway eligibility. BLS certification and registry steps are noted in training requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of adult EEG experience preferred in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of digital EEG systems preferred.
• ABRET pathways considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, sleep-deprived, and long-term EEG studies.
• Maintains digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems; clips studies to save server space.
• Obtains patient history and documents in the EEG system; ensures correct orders and charges.
