Job summary

Sutter Health seeks a Per Diem/Casual RN to provide direct patient care in an acute setting at NCH-Novato Community Hospital in California. You will assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care while educating patients and families and supporting transitions of care.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification within 90 days, and at least two years of relevant experience. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where care is provided.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS within 90 days.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, coordinate, deliver and evaluate nursing care in an acute setting.
• Provide direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Support transitions of care and collaboration with physicians and teams.
• Maintain compliance with policies, standards and privacy laws.
