County of Santa Clara is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Nurse for Medical-Surgical units across our hospitals. The role focuses on applying nursing theory to deliver routine direct patient care in controlled clinical settings.

Requirements include an active California RN license, 1 year of recent acute care RN experience, and 1 year in Medical-Surgical specialty. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; BSN preferred.

Formación

• Active California RN license without restrictions.
• 1 year of full-time RN experience in an acute care hospital in the last 3 years.
• 1 year of full-time RN experience in Medical-Surgical nursing in the last 3 years.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide routine direct patient care within established nursing policies.
• Assess patient data, formulate nursing diagnoses, and report deviations.
• Implement and monitor the patient care plan and evaluate responses.
• Participate in planning and discharge processes as needed.

Conocimientos

RN experience in acute care

RN experience in Medical-Surgical

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Educación

California RN license (unrestricted)

BSN preferred
