The position requires a high school diploma, CDA or associate degree preferred, and bilingual skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED required.
• CDA or associate degree in early childhood preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills English/Chinese or English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers and assistant teachers to lead classroom sessions.
• Support classroom staff on routines, activities, curriculum and transitions for health and safety of children.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment aligned with developmental needs and interests.
• Ensure children's safety through active supervision.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervisor on all child-related matters.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as requested by supervisor.
