Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with some college credits in early childhood preferred.
• At least 2 years of early childhood experience.
• Ability to work toward CPR & first aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and assist the classroom teacher in safety and well-being.
• Plan activities for groups or individual children.
• Provide nurturing, supportive environment and manage classroom behavior.
• Complete required training hours annually through local workshops and trainings.
• Report concerns to the classroom teacher and assist children with special needs.

Education

High School Diploma with some college credits in early childhood, Associates Degree, or CDA preferred.
