Position Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem Patient Driver to join our Transportation Team. The role involves transporting patients to and from the facility, providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling while maintaining safety at all times.

Responsibilities
  1. Transport patients safely to and from the facility.
  2. Provide lunch from the cafeteria to patients as assigned.
  3. Communicate patient care issues to the Transportation Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid Class B or A driver’s license, passenger endorsement, and current medical examination required.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be 21 or older, maintain a good driving record, CPR certification, handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation training within 90 days, and flexible working hours including overtime may be required.
