Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Specialized Services. This on-call, per diem role supports a high-needs individual in community settings across Bennington County.

You will work within a 24/7 team to provide individualized supports, safety supervision, and activity facilitation. Responsibilities include health and wellness monitoring, transportation assistance, and collaboration with clinical staff to meet treatment plans and ensure client safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Direct Service experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized supports as part of a 24/7 team for a high-needs individual.
• Provide services in a respectful, safe, and professional manner.
• Support daily living tasks and community integration.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being; assist with personal care and transportation.
• Maintain documentation and regulatory paperwork accurately and on time.
