Job summary

Morristown Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team and support residents with nutritious meals in a friendly environment. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain cleanliness in the dietary area, and assist with inventory and stocking in a community-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are appetizing and presentable.
• Assist with meal preparation and inventory of food items.
• Aid in cleaning schedules for the Dietary Department (dishwashing, floors).
• Help stock and rotate food items and snacks.
• Deliver snacks as needed to residents or staff.

Dietary Aide / Food Service Responsibilities:

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Assist with meal preparation, inventory of food items, proper storage of food items.
• Assist with the cleaning schedule of the Dietary Department including dining room and kitchen tasks (dishwashing, washing and mopping floors)
• Assist in the daily knowledge and stocking of food inventory
• Prepare and deliver snacks
