Job summary

SolutionHealth seeks a Sonographer to produce high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images for Radiologist interpretation. You will join a collaborative team rotating across hospital and off-site ultrasound departments to support diverse exams.

Responsibilities include adhering to IAC and ARDMS ethics, acting as a liaison with patients and practitioners, and applying protocol-driven, professional judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited (CAAHEP) educational Sonography program recognized by the ARDMS.
• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Preferred. Familiarity with neuro-sonology, vascular scanning, abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological scanning, Preferred.
• Compliant with Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) prior to hire, Required
• ARDMS Registered, Preferred OR registry eligible, must be obtain within 12 months from accepted employment, Required
• Vascular registered within 18 months from accepted employment, Required

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures per IAC standards and ARDMS code of ethics.
• Serves as the primary liaison between patients, licensed practitioners, and other members of the support team.
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
• Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.
