Winchester Hospital is seeking a Food Service Associate to join our Guest Services/Food Services team on a per diem basis in Winchester, MA. You will prepare and assemble meals for customers, accommodate dietary needs, and help maintain clean, safe dining areas for patients, staff and visitors.

The role requires English communication, basic math, and prior food service or cash handling experience. Weekend/holiday rotation and on-site duties in the hospital cafeteria are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior food service experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience.
• Must read/write and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Capable of managing multiple job functions.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assembles for customers at assigned food station.
• Assembles menu items and accommodates dietary needs and allergies.
• Maintains retail food and beverage stations to standards.
• Handles cash at register and completes transactions.
• Delivers trays to patient rooms as needed.
• Performs daily HACCP checks and logs temperatures.
• Maintains a clean work area and adheres to sanitation standards.
