Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on cardiac and CT interventional procedures. This onsite role supports physicians and collaborates with interdepartmental teams to ensure high-quality exams.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, an MA Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT-R registration, and ARRT-CT preferred; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• MA Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT-R registration required.
• ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years CT/Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and CT interventional procedures.
• Assist other technologists during procedures.
• Ensure the proper exam is administered to the patient; consult provider as needed.
• Review images and studies for proper identification and quality.
• Check patient history and obtain waivers/forms as applicable.
• Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with patients and staff.
• Provide in-services to staff, APNs and physician assistants.
