Job summary

Requirements include ARRT CT certification, AMA approved CT program, BLS, CA fluoroscopy permit, venipuncture certification, and typically 1 year of CT experience. Per diem schedule and weekend coverage offered.

Qualifications

• Formal training in an AMA approved CT program.
• 1 year CT experience recommended.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• CA Fluoroscopy Permit required.
• Venipuncture certification required.
• CRT certification required by CA Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of CT procedures with quality patient care.
• Assist Physicians as needed during imaging procedures.
• Verify physician orders and document in RIS.
• Ensure accurate labeling, contrast usage, and billing modifiers.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to ALARA and safety protocols.
