Job summary

Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist - Fluoro for variable shifts and per diem coverage. You will perform a wide range of fluoroscopic procedures, verify orders, and support Radiologists while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Required AMA-approved training, ARRT and CA Fluoroscopy permits, CA CRT certification, and BLS. Experience with IDXrad and strong team collaboration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CA Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit required.
• CA Department of Public Health CRT certification required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documentation management and verification of physician orders.
• Begin exams in IDXrad and complete exams with accurate data.
• Label studies and ensure proper patient identification and confidentiality.
• Assist Radiologist and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education to patients and families.
