Job summary

Prime Healthcare's St Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks a CT Technologist (Radiologic Technologist II) for per diem shifts. You will operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist radiologists, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

CT certification and ARRT-CT are required, along with state licensure/fluoroscopy permit and BCLS. Per diem hours vary; shifts are flexible.

Qualifications

• CT RadiologyTechnologist II must be CT certified and hold an additional modality certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
• Proficient computer skills and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately and explain procedures with empathy.
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Assist radiologists and may administer contrast agents.
• Ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment and maintain supplies.
