Job summary

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist to support our expanding radiology services in Mountain View, Cupertino, San Jose and Los Gatos. The role is Per Diem with day shifts, offering competitive pay in a fast-paced clinical setting.

As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners, ensure patient safety, prepare patients, and work closely with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an AMA-approved school.
• Current ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R) license.
• Current CT License and California CRT license.
• Venipuncture certificate.
• Minimum 3 years CT technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EMR, PACS and RIS systems.
• Type at least 40 WPM.
• Strong communication and patient relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images.
• Educate and prepare patients for examinations.
• Provide patient care during procedures.
• Take medical history before exams.
• Position patients to show appropriate anatomy.
• Set technical parameters for imaging.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologist.
• Contribute to patient experience and satisfaction.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Adhere to HR, safety, HIPAA and attendance policies.
• Complete trainings and follow schedules.
• Model WeCare principles.
• Other duties as assigned.
