Job summary

Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA is seeking a CT Technologist Per Diem to perform radiographic procedures in the CT suite. You will position patients, optimize exposures, and operate CT equipment to support diagnostic imaging. You will also document essential data and assist radiology students while keeping a neat, organized work area.

The role requires on-call availability for emergencies and flexibility in shift hours. Prior CT experience and California CRT/ARRT certifications are required.

Qualifications

• One year experience as Radiologic Technologist in the assigned area.
• Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by CDPH.
• ARRT certification and CSRT venipuncture certification.
• BLS certification and knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographs/scans for medical diagnosis under supervision.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for proper exposure.
• Record pertinent information related to radiograph production.
• Assist in supervision of Radiology students and maintain work area.
• On-call availability for emergency procedures.

Involves positioning patients and adjusting equipment for proper exposure and for film development. Records pertinent information pertaining to the production of the radiograph/scan. Assists in the supervision of Radiology students. Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly condition.
