Job summary

Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and interventional procedures and support the radiology team. This role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology and an MA license with ARRT credentials.

Experience of 1–2 years is preferred. Onsite work with potential for professional growth and competitive per diem pay in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Experience in lieu of degree is not accepted.
• Licenses: MA Radiologic Technologist license required; ARRT-R.
• ARRT-CT and BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist other technologists during procedures.
• Ensure the correct exam is administered to the patient.
• Consult with providers as needed.
• Review images for identification and quality.
• Check patient history and obtain waivers/forms as applicable.
• Establish rapport with patients to identify service needs.
