Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT equipment under radiologist supervision, supporting RIS/PACS workflows and high-quality patient care on the Columbia/Milstein campus in Upper Manhattan. This per-diem role requires on-site presence and a commitment to excellence.

Candidates must hold NY license, ARRT CT certification, and NY license to inject contrast; two years CT experience and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Qualifications

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License from Department of Health is required.
• ARRT Computed Tomography Certification is required.
• New York State license to inject contrast is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment under the direction of a Radiologist and supervision of a department supervisor.
• Apply knowledge of RIS, PACS, and digital data transfer processes to support imaging workflows.
• Contribute to maintaining high quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our NYP/Columbia campus imaging team. In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a Radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. Location is our Columbia/Milstein campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.

Preferred Criteria

• Two years of Computed Tomography (CT) experience
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience with Radiology Information Systems, PACS, data processing and digital data transfer process

Required Criteria

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) / Computed Tomography Certifications
• New York State license to inject contrast
