Job summary

Ashe Memorial Hospital in Ashe County, NC, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on patient safety and comfort, supporting physicians and radiologists to deliver accurate diagnoses.

You will work across Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside exams on a flexible schedule, with on-call rotations, and begin benefiting from comprehensive hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures per physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to support accurate diagnosis.
• Provide imaging services across ED, Operating Room, and bedside exams.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Educate patients on procedures to promote understanding and reduce anxiety.
