Job summary

Ashe Memorial Hospital seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on patient safety and comfort. You will support physicians and radiologists by delivering high-quality images essential for accurate diagnosis.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT eligibility or certification, and CPR. New grads are welcome to apply, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to support accurate diagnosis.
• Provide imaging services across multiple settings, including ED, OR, and bedside exams.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Educate patients on procedures to promote understanding and ease concerns.
