Mass General Brigham Medical Group Western Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem CRNA to deliver anesthesia services at an onsite location in western Massachusetts.

The provider evaluates medical history, selects anesthesia types, and administers and monitors anesthesia during procedures. The role covers induction and maintenance of anesthesia, invasive monitoring as needed, and post-operative observation before handing care back to the RN or MD.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required.
• CRNA licensure (National) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of patients' medical history and involvement in selecting anesthesia type.
• Administration and management of anesthetic agents; monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
• Induction and maintenance of anesthesia; act as a resource within OR and patient care environments.
• Inserts invasive monitoring lines when required and interprets data for patient safety.
• Ensures safety and proper handling of anesthetic equipment, supplies, and drugs.
• Collaborates with Pharmacy staff on drug handling and waste protocols.
• Observe and care in immediate postoperative period and hand off to RN/MD.
