Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Per Diem CRNA to join our experienced anesthesia team. You will provide safe general and regional anesthesia under the guidance of the attending surgeon, ensuring patient comfort and safety across procedures.

Responsibilities include managing anesthesia supplies in the Operating Room, collaborating with surgeons and OR staff, evaluating new patients, staying current with research and best practices, and delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
• Current NBCRNA CRNA certification.
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority for practice.
• Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
• Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe general and regional anesthesia for assigned patients under the attending surgeon.
• Manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
• Promote teamwork with OR personnel, physicians, and other departments.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers for coordinated care.
• Stay current with research and best practices in Anesthesiology.
