Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our downtown Seattle team. You will provide safe general and regional anesthesia under the guidance of the attending surgeon, with a focus on patient safety and top-tier care.

Qualifications

Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
Current Certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA).
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority.
Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.

Responsibilities

Provide safe general and regional anesthesia for assigned patients under surgeon guidance.
Manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
Promote teamwork with OR personnel, physicians, and other departments.
Adhere to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
