Job summary

Liberty Resources, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Peer Specialist for the Cayuga Crisis Residence Program. This role focuses on recovery-oriented, harm-reduction, and trauma-informed care to stabilize crises and help guests return to their communities.

Responsibilities include personal care support, peer services, crisis intervention, and collaboration with health and treatment providers. The position offers weekend/overnight hours and opportunities for mentorship and to obtain peer certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OMH peer certification (NYCPS/FPA/CRPA) or equivalent, with willingness to complete state-approved training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide services per 14 NYCRR XIII Part 589: personal care, peer support, safety planning, case management, medication management.
• Deliver crisis intervention and teach coping tools to reduce crises.
• Collaborate with Health Homes, hospitals, and treatment providers in a person-centered plan of care.
