Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Art Therapy from an AMTA approved program
• Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy (BS or higher) with AMTA credentials
• Bachelor's Degree in Horticultural Therapy with HTA registration
• Master's Degree in Dance Therapy with RDMT credential
• ATR and MT-BC certifications required/Preferred
• BLS by American Heart Association required/preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, deliver, and evaluate music/art/dance-movement and horticulture therapy based interventions for a full patient caseload in various care settings.
• Design sessions or programs to meet client goals in collaboration with clients and site administrators.
• Assess client needs using artistic and horticultural processes and prepare treatment recommendations.
• Coordinate with treatment team to integrate plans into overall care.
• Document patient participation and reactions and evaluate therapeutic effects.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research in creative arts therapies.
