Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable allied therapy program; license or certification as an Allied Therapist in the state of employment within 6 months of hire.
• Master’s degree in applicable allied therapy program preferred.
• CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers artistic therapy services and supports and empowers staff to embrace the facility's mission and values.
• Develops, implements and evaluates an artistic therapy program in collaboration with the CTRS and Director of Clinical Services.
• Assesses psychosocial, cognitive and/or developmental disorders and disabilities as they relate to art/music therapy.
• Directs and coordinates artistic activities for the hospital population served.
• Ensures therapy activities meet patient needs and are aligned with treatment plans.
