The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved COTA program, maintains CPR/BLS certification, and has knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum.
• Able to practice unencumbered and in good standing with regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
• Maintains CPR/BLS during employment.
• Exudes professionalism in presentation.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and team members.
• Provides timely written documentation per facility requirements and insurance needs.
• Maintains awareness of patient needs and reports changes to supervising therapists promptly.
• Attends required meetings and coordinates treatment goals with team members.
