Job summary
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) in Berkley, MA is seeking a Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled OT services in patients’ homes under the supervision of an OT.
The position offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and licensure reimbursement; requires MA COTA license, 1 year of clinical experience, and afternoon availability. VRNS supports ongoing professional development and clinician leadership.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts COTA license required.
- At least 1 year of clinical OT experience.
- Afternoon availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under supervision of an OT.
- Train patients in activities of daily living and instrumental ADLs.
- Recommend and train use of adaptive equipment under OT supervision.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising OT.
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other care team members.
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
