Job summary

Silver Health Care Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work with our occupational therapists to implement individualized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain independence.

Responsibilities include assisting in assessments, conducting daily therapy sessions, developing plans, maintaining records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Must hold a valid state license to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Conduct daily therapy sessions, using techniques and equipment to promote patient independence and function.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that address patient goals and needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
• Participate in in-service education and professional development programs.
