Spring Creek Healthcare Center in Perth Amboy, NJ, a 179-bed nursing home, is seeking a Per Diem Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare a variety of meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety protocols are followed while delivering compassionate service to patients and residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a customer-focused approach to meet daily meal needs in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

Experience in food preparation in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
Ability to work as part of a dietary team to plan and prepare meals.

Strong organizational skills to maintain records of food preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals for patients and residents, including entrees, sides, and desserts.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and storage areas.

Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare meals.
Maintain accurate records of food preparation and consumption.
