Job summary

United Methodist Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for per diem staffing through UMC HomeWorks. You can pick shifts and earn $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, with up to $4.00 more per hour for evenings, nights, and weekends.

As a Staffing CNA, you will fill in open shifts, assist residents with daily care, follow care plans, and document care accurately. You will build meaningful relationships with residents while collaborating with the care team and enjoy full scheduling

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey CNA certification required.
• At least 6 months of experience in a long‑term care setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and provide coverage for open shifts you've agreed to.
• Support residents with daily personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Follow each resident's care plan and complete documentation accurately.
• Make rounds to check on residents and provide consistent, individualized support.
• Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment.
• Build real relationships with residents while working alongside the care team.
