Job summary

North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida is seeking a certified and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our per diem team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, supporting rehabilitation goals to help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Florida.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Commitment to North Beach Rehabilitation Center's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital signs, personal care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist with rehabilitative therapies, such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as directed by a licensed therapist.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and therapy participation.
• Participate in care planning and goal setting with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
