Job summary

MaineHealth’s Stephens Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant I for per diem shifts (7A-7A, 3P-11P, 7P-7A) in the Med Surg unit. Under RN supervision, you will provide basic CNA care to designated patients and support the nursing team.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CNA license, and BLS certification (or within 30 days of start). Less than six months of CNA experience is acceptable for this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: Less than six months of CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• The CNA I provides basic level CNA care assisting in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
