The position requires an active CNA/HHA/LNA license; prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred, with dementia care experience valued.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license is required.
• Previous skilled nursing or assisted living experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report changes to the care team.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate Per-Diem CNA to join our team at Benchmark at Roseland! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
