Job summary

Heywood Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for per diem shifts in Massachusetts. The role focuses on direct patient care, daily living activities, and collaboration with licensed nurses to ensure safe and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• CPR certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
• 1 year experience in a long term care facility; Med/Surg preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under direction of a licensed nurse.
• Collects basic health data as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility).
• Maintains clean, safe environment and documents care provided.
• Communicates patient information to team and participates in orientation of new staff.
