Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking Per Diem Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants to join Riverside Terrace. Multiple shifts offered with 6a-2:30p, 2p-10:30p, or 10p-6:30a; hours per week are varied for per diem positions.

In this role you will assist residents who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired with daily living activities, and you may help with medications under RN supervision after training.

Qualifications

• Must have current WI CNA certification.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• CPR Certification within 3 months.
• Must complete the required medication training course.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Works collaboratively with peers and all team members.
• Follows up promptly with appropriate staff, tenants, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist tenants with instrumental activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with medications under supervision of Registered Nurse after completion of approved course.
• Escort tenants to dining room and assist with meals.
• Conduct room checks and tenant rounds; monitor environmental and safety hazards.
• Record incidents and report to Director within 1 hour.
