WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our healthcare team on a per diem basis in New Jersey. The CNA will provide high-quality, hands-on care and support to residents, promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, reliable, and collaborates well with the nursing staff. Per diem shifts vary across facilities, offering flexibility to fit different schedules.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in New York State is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Take and record vital signs and patient information as directed.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents/patients.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff.
• Assist with meals and monitor intake of food and fluids.
• Provide compassionate emotional and social support.
• Follow facility policies and infection-control guidelines.
• Accurately document care provided.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
