Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current license from State of RI, Board of Social Work Licensure.
• LICSW status required when eligible (2 years/2000 hours post-master supervision).
• Experience with health/mental health populations preferred.
• Ability to assess psychosocial issues across aging, development, and culture.

Aufgaben

• Conduct bio-psychosocial evaluations to guide treatment and discharge planning.
• Consult with medical and support staff to design comprehensive care plans.
• Develop and initiate treatment plans using individual and group modalities.
• Document social work activity in patient records per departmental standards.
• Participate in conferences to improve care coordination and patient flow.
• Educate patients and families to understand and follow care recommendations.
• Advocate for patient needs and coordinate community resources.
• Supervise and evaluate social work students and interns; LICSW strongly preferred.
• Prepare statistics and reports; participate in QA and Joint Commission activities.
• Maintain professional development and participate in trainings.
