Job summary

Qualifications

• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of hospital laboratory work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology and related disciplines.
• Adhere to CLIA and hospital policies; ensure accuracy of patient results.
• Maintain instrumentation, document maintenance, and assist LIS/POC duties as needed.
