Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Per Diem Laboratory Technician to support STAT Lab operations across multiple New Jersey satellite locations, including Berkeley Heights and others. You will perform specimen processing, instrument QC, and routine testing in accordance with SOPs, ensuring accurate results and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (BS preferred), 0–1 years’ experience, and the ability to travel to partner sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred.
• 0–1 years’ experience; 2–4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and evaluate patient specimens per SOP.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC.
• Communicate instrument status to staff and schedule service calls.
• Perform proficiency testing and release results per policy.
• Support validations for new tests and expand laboratory revenues.

Education

Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science

Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (preferred)
