Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a per diem Clinical Care Technician to provide nursing support under the supervision of a professional nurse. The role involves assisting with direct patient care, maintaining patient safety, and supporting the patient-family centered care model on assigned units.

Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, preparing rooms, observing and reporting patient status, and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Preferred CNA or MA certification.
• One year of related experience as NA/PCA/CCT/PCT preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional RN in patient care planning and delivery.
• Support daily living activities for patients with safety and respect.
• Greet patients and families and respond to requests promptly.
• Record and communicate patient data to the assigned nurse.
• Prepare rooms for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assist with procedures and transport patients as needed.
• Provide comfort measures and support patient mobility.
• Assist with monitoring equipment and specimen collection as directed.
