Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (Nursing Support) for per diem shifts in Boston. The role supports licensed nurses with direct patient care, environmental tasks, and patient safety on assigned units.

You will perform ADL assistance, transport patients, help with procedures, and monitor equipment under supervision. A valid BLS and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nurse in patient care and safety.
• Provide activities of daily living support and ensure patient dignity.
• Record and report patient data to the nurse promptly.
• Prepare rooms for admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Transport patients as needed and assist with mobility.
• Set up for procedures and assist with specimens and lab prep.
• Operate and monitor basic biomedical equipment under supervision.
• Perform hourly rounding and respond to call lights.
