Guthrie is seeking a per diem Clinical Assistant– Office Support to join our Centerway, NY outpatient practice. You will provide both clinical and administrative support, assisting with examinations, arranging care coordination, scheduling, and patient communication.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, vital signs, and preparing patients for exams, while maintaining efficient office operations. Per diem hours cover multiple departments, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Interviews patient to obtain medical history.
• Determines vital signs and documents in medical record.
• Assists provider during exam and treatment.
• Directs patient to examination room and prepares patient for examination.
• Processes liaison duties between patients, providers, and hospital staff.
• Updates patient information and coordinate appointments.
