Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Aide in Mirmont’s Behavioral Health unit to support patient care and treatment planning. You will guide patients through daily treatment, assist with assessments, and contribute to safety and clinical documentation on the unit.

This role includes tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 annually, per diem scheduling, and opportunities to grow within the Main Line Health team, with weekend night shifts and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day and promote a superior patient experience.
• Assist in assessments, treatment plans, clinical formulations, progress notes, and continuing care planning.
• Monitor patient safety and behavior; identify risk and support the team with behavioral issues on the unit.

n your role as a Behavioral Health Clinical Aide, you will be a key component of our team ensuring our patients have a Superior Patient Experience. Providing guidance to patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day, you will be an active member of our treatment team providing vital information that will contribute to the formulation of assessments, treatment plans, clinical formulations, progress notes, and continuing care planning. You will provide patient safety in all levels of care and promote consistent accountability towards treatments norms, boundaries and expectations. By monitoring and interacting appropriately with patients to ascertain the mood of the community and assessing patient behaviors, you will help to identify problem/high risk behaviors assisting the team with behavioral issues on the unit such as psychiatric, self-harming, agitation, isolation and aggressive behaviors.

Experience:

Prior behavioral health experience with addiction preferred.

Education:

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a human services area preferred.
