Job summary

Main Line Health's Mirmont Treatment Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Aide to support patients' treatment day, provide guidance, and be an active treatment team member.

You will monitor mood and behaviors, assist with safety, and contribute to assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and continuing care planning. Shift: 3 pm–11:30 pm; pay range $17.00–$26.24 hourly.

Qualifications

• Prior behavioral health experience; addiction experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day and promote a positive patient experience.
• Serve as an active member of the treatment team and contribute to assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Monitor mood and behaviors to identify high‑risk situations and support safety.
• Support behavioral health needs such as psychiatric symptoms, self‑harm, agitation, isolation, and aggression.

Overview

As a Behavioral Health Clinical Aide, you will be a key component of our team ensuring our patients have a superior patient experience. You will provide guidance to patients regarding all aspects of their treatment day, serve as an active member of the treatment team, and contribute vital information to assessments, treatment plans, clinical formulations, progress notes, and continuing care planning. You will ensure patient safety at all levels of care and promote consistent accountability toward treatment norms, boundaries, and expectations. By monitoring and interacting appropriately with patients to assess mood and behaviors, you will help identify problem or high‑risk behaviors and assist the team with behavioral issues such as psychiatric, self‑harm, agitation, isolation, and aggression.
